I would have posted this in my own diary, but some members of my family might see it, which would obviously be disasterous, so I'm putting it here instead, hope nobody minds.
My mum's family live in Scotland so the only time we ever see them is when we go up there for Christmas, we stay with my nan who always makes a big thing of it, we see in the New Year with her then we go back home.
